Hévíz, with its Thermallake and
the Thermalbath built on the lake in 1795 is the most famous spa in
Hungary and well-known all around Europe. The lake has a surface of
44.000 m2 and its temperature is 34 degrees of Celsius. For swimming
it is recommende dto use swimming belt. Right beside the lake can
you find a hospital where you can have therapies. Several hotels in
Hévíz has own medical department and thermalbath.
